Doveridge Village Hall is a Hallmark accredited Hall, which means it is well managed (in accordance with Charity Commission guidelines) and meets current health and safety regulations.

With over 500 bookings per year it is the hub of community life in the village and surrounding area. Regular users, from St. Cuthbert’s Pre-school Play Group, Yoga, Dance Clubs, Mulberry Theatre Group, W.I., Senior Residents to Whist Drive, account for around 80% of all the bookings.

And because of its excellent facilities, easy access and location near Uttoxeter and the A50 trunk road it provides the perfect venue for wedding receptions, private parties, business meetings and fund raising events. To book the Hall for a wedding reception you must use the Wedding Reception Booking Form

The Hall has air conditioning throughout and, as all the rooms are on the ground floor, it is fully accessible to disabled persons. In addition to the large airy main room (seating up to 150 people) with a stage, the Hall has a separate small meeting room (for up to 20 people), a catering standard kitchen (with stainless surfaces, warming cabinet, a dishwasher and Hydroboil), a recently refurbished bar with wine cooler, toilets (including a separate disabled unit) and baby changing facilities. The Hall is fully licensed for alcohol, theatre and entertainments.

Doveridge Village Hall is managed by an enthusiastic and dedicated team of volunteers who make sure that it provides the best possible facilities at affordable rates.

Since 2006 over £43,000 has been spent on ten improvement projects to reduce energy costs whilst increasing the comfort, convenience and safety of everyone who uses the Hall.
