A bird flu outbreak was confirmed in Derbyshire at a poultry site near Doveridge on 15 November. A 10km surveillance zone and a 3km protection zone are now in place. Trading standards officers will be in the area to advise, and road signs will go up to warn people when they are entering the area. More information is available from Derbyshire County Council.
