The residents of Doveridge Thank You for all you do to enhance the Village with your efforts and community spirit. Nominees said you have made the village pub a welcoming family place to visit again and work hard to involve yourselves in community events and fundraising activities.

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ORDER TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.57 (WHOLE) (running from Marston Lane to Babbs Lane, Doveridge)
WHEN: 19th February 2024 to 8th March 2024.
WHERE: Close public footpath No.57 in the parish of
Doveridge for the whole length.
REASON: To facilitate public safety whilst electric
cables are installed. See link below for Map
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience
caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further

Citizen of the Year 2023
It’s that time of year to nominate someone for Citizen of the Year. If you feel someone deserves the recognition for outstanding contribution the the village during 2023, please let us know. Give as much detail as possible on what they have done that makes them stand out, going over and above in order to support the community in the last 12 months. We had lots of great nominations last year, so make sure your nomination provides as much information as possible.
